David Brown won the race and Rebecca Pike for the top female.

I finished in 1:13:42 and came in 19th out of 59 runners. I beat my best race time 21 seconds from last year.

Another PB! The Kent Building Supplies 7K

It was sunny and 18 degrees.

The Kent Building Supplies 7K in Bloomfield. The loop course on Mill River East and highway 2.

Edwin Gillis won the race and Jennifer Pizio-Perry for the top female. I finished in 28:03 and came in 2nd out of 42 runners. I beat 7km PB time 1:40 faster than 2008.

Tomorrow I run the 15km at Desmond Baglole Scenic Road Run.

The Harvest Festival Run in Stanchel. The course on Rte 225, Kinkora, Freetown and Kensington.

Steven Baglole won the race and Jennifer Pizio-Perry for the top female.

I finished in 1:57:47 and came in 15th out of 70 runners.
I beat 25km PB time 3:33 faster than in 2008.

Gold Cup Trot - A Top 10, Sub 20 minute 5K

It was sun and cloud and 20 degrees. The Gold Cup Trot at Victoria Park. The loop course on Victoria Park, Gold Cup Parade route and Old Charlottetown.

Connor McGuire won the race and broke the course record by 2 seconds. Grace Annear for the top female.

I finished in 19:29 and came in 9th out of 160 runners.

Tied my 3rd best 5km time along with Banks Financial (19:29 2008), UPEI Homecoming (19:12 2009) and Deltaware (19:07 2008).

Tomorrow I run the Kensington Harvest Festival Run 25km from Stanchel to Kensington start time at 8:30am.

The Source for Sports 10km run at Summerside School. The loop course on Old Summerside, MacEwen Rd and Central Street.

It was sunny and 15 degrees.

The Mt. Edward Grocery Memorial 5 Mile Run in Sherwood. The 2.5km loop course on Mt. Edward Rd. and Maple Ave.

Troy Cox from Ontario won the race and Rebecca Pike for the top female.

I finished in 35:38 and came in 11th out of 58 runners.

It was cloudy and raining and 23 degrees.

The Scenic 15km run in Millvale.

The loop course on tough hills and road.

Steven Baglole won the race and Rebecca Pike for the top female.

I finished in 1:14:03 and beat 49 seconds from last year and came in 13th out of 30 runners.

The three days run was completed. Paul Burnley also ran all three runs.

It was cloudy and windy and 26 degrees.

The Kent Building Supplies 7km run at Bloomfield.

The loop course on Mill River East and Guard road and highway.

Dakota Cameron won the race and Jennifer Perry for the top female.

I finished in 30:43 and came in 7th out of 32 runners.

Tomorrow the hurricane Bill hit Atlantic Canada.

Tomorrow I supposed to run the Desmond Baglole Scenic Run in the morning and in the afternoon meeting volunteering for Canada Summer Games.

2nd Best Ever 5K - The Gold Cup Trot

It was sun and cloud and 22 degrees.

The Gold Cup Trot at Victoria Park.

The 5km loop course on Victoria, parade route and Charlottetown.

Sam Mason won the race and Kristen Newman for the top female.

I finished in 20:12 and came in 10th out of 72 runners and 2nd best time ever in 5km time at Gold Cup Trot.

This weekends I run 7km at Bloomfield and 15km in Millvale if Hurricane Bill allows.

A Very Hot Kensington Harvest Festival 25K

It was sunny and hot and 30 degrees.

The longest running road race in PEI, 36 years.

The rolling hills course from Stanchel to Kensington.

Alex Coffin former course record holder won the race and beat current record holder Stanley Chaisson. Rebecca Pike for the top female.

I finished in 2:20:48 and came in 42nd out of 70 runners.

I won door prizes and new shoes.

I was very hot and put ice cubes on the cap.

Source For Sports 10K Road Race

It was sunny and 17 degrees.

The Source For Sports 10km race at Summerside school. The course on downtown Summerside, Central Street and MacEwen road.

Connor McGuire won the race Caroline Schlosser from Halifax for the top female.

I finished in 44:21 and came in 24th out of 87 runners.

I won the $25 gift card from Source For Sports for 20th male.

Next Saturday, I run the 25km run at Kensignton Harvest Festival.

Opening Ceramories at Credit Union Place for the 2009 Canada Summer Games are next Saturday.

Brookvale Ultra Trail Marathon

It was sunny and 27 degrees.

The Brookvale Ultra Trail Marathon at Brookvale Provincial Park.

The 10km race on the nordic ski trails and mountain bike trails. It was tough run.

Scott Clark won the 10K race and Ardelle Hynes for the top female.

I finshed in 1:07:31 and came in 8th out of 24 runners.

Steven Baglole won the 25km race and Loretta Van Ekris and Diane Boswall tie for the top female.

Leo McCosham won the 50K ultra marathon trail race and Jennifer Nickerson for the top female.

I was a good time on steep climbs, roots and single file on trail.

Flavell finishes third in 50-km event

BROOKVALE — Albert Flavell of Summerside finished third overall in the 50-kilometre portion of the Brookvale Ultra Trail Marathon here recently.
Flavell, 39, finished with a race time of six hours, four minutes 39 seconds (6:04:39). Leo McCosham was the overall winner in 5:33:41 and Gary Simmonds was second in 5:59:16.
Cheryl Tanton and Paul Burnley, both of Summerside, tied for seventh in 7:59:00.
In the 25-kilometre marathon, 32-year-old Steven Baglole was the first-place overall finisher in 2:13:40. Paul Baglole (2:14:03) and Justin Pozin (2:16:02) rounded out the top three.
Scott Clark of Summerside won the 10-kilometre event. Clark, 45, who had a time of 54:14, finished ahead of Ardelle Hynes (55:35) and Mark McCosham (56:19).
The 25-kilometre course used the Brookvale Provincial Park Nordic ski trails, single mountain bike trails, heritage roads and Provincial Forestry Demo Woodlot trails. The 50-kilometre participants did the course twice.

Mt. Edward Grocery Memorial 5 Mile Run

It was sun and cloud and 19 degrees.

The Mt. Edward Grocery Memorial 5 mile on 2.5 mile loop in Sherwood and Mt. Edward Road.

Andre Blow won the race and Rebecca Walker for the top female.

I finished in 35:15 and came in 12th out of 43 runners.

Tomorrow I run the Brookvale trail run at 10km race with 25km and 50km ultramarathon at Brookvale Provincial Park.
