Conservafools Hatin' On The Prez's March Madness Brackets

One of the things the president has done since entering office is take a few minutes like 'errbody' else in the country does every March including the TransGriot and fill out brackets for the men's and women's NCAA tournament that gets revealed during an ESPN show and one the White House website..

One of the things I wanted to do on the show was, as people are filling out their brackets -- this is obviously a national pastime; we all have a great time, it’s a great diversion.  But I know a lot of people are thinking how can they help the Japanese people during this time of need.  If you go to usaid.gov -- usaid.gov -- that will list all the nonprofits, the charities that are helping out there.  It would be wonderful for people to maybe offer a little help to the Japanese people at this time -- as they’re filling out their brackets.  It’s not going to take a lot of time.  That's usaid.gov.  It could be really helpful.

But you know the conservafools.  The credits hadn't even finished rolling before the usual suspect conservafools attacked.

Newt Gingrich tweeted yesterday that America needs "a commander in chief not a spectator in chief," insisting Obama was "hiding from his job behind NCAA picks."

Faux News piled on along with RNC chair Reince Priebus and Oxycontin Man.

If this man was in a radiation hazmat suit and dumping water on the damaged Fukushima reactors himself or personally leading the anti-Khadafy rebels in Libya, they'd still find a way to hate on him.

Hypocrite Alert- Grant Storms Busted

One of the things I've noted about our Forces of Intolerance haters is that many of them are either insecure with their own gender identity or sexuality or have seriously creepy issues of their own.

One of those in this camp is Grant Storms.

He's a fundie pastor that if you go to New Orleans' French Quarter will see loudly using his bullhorn to decry and condemn any in his opinion sinful behavior, and is a loud critic of the Southern Decadence party that happens in the French Quarter on Labor Day weekend. 

Well, it seems that Storms is another one of those hate pastors who ain't practicing what he screeches.

The 53 year old Storms was busted by Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputies on an obscenity charge  in Metairie, LA when two witnesses caught him in a local park touching his junk in a van near the children's carousel.

Hypocrisy meter at maximum strength for this one.

Shut Up Fool! Awards-Post CPAC Edition

The conservafool madness known as CPAC has departed Washington DC until 2102, and I won't have to look at any conservafools contaminating C-SPAN for long stretches of television time until the next House session..

But let's dive right in to this week's edition of the Shut Up Fool Awards.    With Oscar weekend fast approaching I will be announcing who our five Shut Up Fool Lifetime Achievement Award winners will be on Oscar night.     Will probably be more exciting than the Oscar ceremony promises to be.

Once again I had to cut straight to the chase.   This week's winner just had no competition for being stupid, foul and just plain mean spiritedly ignorant.

Our winner this week is conservafool blogger Debbie Schlussel. 

She captioned a picture of CBS international reporter Lara Logan surrounded by Egyptian protestors as, “Islam Fan Lara Logan Gets a Taste of Islam.”   She then wrote the following foul comment.in reaction to Logan being sexually assaulted in Tahrir Square while covering the story.

“How fitting that Lara Logan was ‘liberated’ by Muslims in Liberation Square while she was gushing over the other part of the ‘liberation.’

You know, people like Schlussel are another reason why I can't stand conservatives.   All I have to say is that when the karmic wheel turns on you, you'll know why.
