The 3rd Annual Halloween Hustle - A Top 3, Sub-20 Minute 5K

It was cloud and few showers and 5 degrees.

The Halloween Hustle at Kensington Farmers Market.

The out and back course on Confederation Trail.

I wore "Rain Man" costume this year.

Aron Croken won the race and Jennifer Pizio-Perry for the top female.

I finished in 19:53 and came in 3rd out of 120 runners.

Official Result: 3rd out of 120
5Km in 19 minutes, 53 seconds

Doin' the Halloween Hustle

The Halloween Hustle 5-kilometre run left from Kensington on Saturday with a number of costumed runners taking part. The annual Hustle is a fundraiser for the IWK and Kensington Fit Place.

Aaron Croken was the top finisher in the annual fundraising race with a time of 18:42.

West Prince native Jennifer Pizio-Perry was the first female runner across the finish line with a time of 20:48.

2nd Annual Halloween Hustle

The Tortoise and the Hare...



...finished 1, 2

It was cloudy and 4 degrees.

The Halloween Hustle at Kensington Train Station.

The out and back course at Confederation Trail.

Tyler Sellar wore a tortoise costume and Keaghan Rilling wore a hare costume inspired from "The Tortoise and The Hare". Just like in the story the Hare take a rest and was beaten by Tortoise.

Shelley Simmons MacLeod for the top female.

I finished in 19:55 and came in 4th out of 79 runners.

It was the first post marathon race.

I wore a ninja suit this year. Johnny Miles was there, KISS members won the best costume. There were lots of costumes.

Official Result: 4th out of 77
5K in 19 minutes, 49 seconds

Starting Time: 9:00 a.m.
Registration: 8:00 a.m. at Kensington Farmers Market (by the train station)

Course Description: Flat out-and-back course on the Confederation Trail. Leaving the Kensington
Farmers Market heading west towards Summerside and back.
